Loose wave is similar to body wave in texture because it’s a very loose curl. The difference between loose wave and body wave is that loose wave doesn’t flow in one piece like body wave, it’s more loose, like the name says. It is made by using a larger roller and that’s the reason why it’s so loose and soft. It has a great flow and it can be used on different hairstyles. Since loose curls can relaxed over time, proper care and maintenance is extremely important. Moisture is the key for protecting your curls. Loose wave is very thick and holds an extreme curl. It is the thickest hair that we offer. Loose wave is perfect for someone who is wanting to wear their natural hair and accentuate it. It dyes well and reacts very well to deep conditioning. I would recommend a good organ or natural oil weekly to keep it hydrated, especially if you use heat often. I would also recommend curl enhancers meant to deepen natural curls to maintain the curls throughout shampooing. TO MAINTAIN THE CURL PATTERN ALWAYS AIR DRY, DO NOT BLOW DRY. The strand is fairly thick and true to length throughout. You can straighten or heat style loose wave and the pattern will return after cleansing, conditioning, hydrating and air drying. We recommend 3-4 bundles depending on lengths and desired richness of curls.
